Keren’s civic involvement includes acting as the Vice President & board member for Spray Water Power and Land Company, serving as a board member of the S.C. Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, and President of the S.C. Gerontological Society. Keren also served as a past-president on the Midlands Gerontological Society, a past board member of the CareGivers Coalitions of the Midlands, and was past Vice President of Senior Care Professionals of the Midlands.
Keren has been married to her husband, Phil Pickard, for 23 years and has two sons, Nelson and Turner. She and her family are members of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church of Chapin. She holds a B.A. in Music Performance and Voice from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
