Marie’s passion for caring and interacting with senior citizens helps our residents to enjoy a full retirement lifestyle. Having been an Activity Director for over eight years, she really understands and respects seniors and knows how to motivate them to engage with others. Marie teaches exercise, crafts, and organizes events such as the Capital Brass Quintet, the Mother’s Day Tea and our annual Oktoberfest celebration. She also looks for opportunities for our seniors to give back to the community whenever possible.
Along with her love of Southlake Village residents, Marie’s hobbies are gardening, making and teaching crafts, woodworking and framing pictures. Marie is married to Gary and has two grown children and one grandchild. Her favorite child, however, is Sweetpea, her adorable tabby cat!
