Ben D. Arnold
Ben is president of both Arnold Family Corporation and Arnold Construction Corporation and has been in the real estate field for 13 years. He is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Finance and Real Estate. Ben is the Vice President of Arnold Companies, which leases and manages approximately 700,000 square feet of office, warehouse and retail space in South Carolina. Read more about Ben…
Keren Pickard
Keren Pickard is Southlake Village’s Executive Director. She has over 12 years experience in the Senior Care industry, including 6 years as the Owner and Operator of Walnut Grove in Eden, NC (a 68 apartment independent retirement community), 6 years as the Executive Director at The Waterford at Columbia, and 2 years as the Marketing Director at Eden Gardens.
Wendy Birkenheiser
Wendy has been the Business Manager at Southlake Village since before the building opened in 2008. She grew up around the corner in Gibert, South Carolina. When she’s not working, Wendy enjoys speding time outdoors with family and friends. She has two dogs, a cat and a baby boy due in March 2012.
Cynthia Richardson
Cynthia joined the Southlake Village team in 2009 and brought over twenty years of experience in the food service industry. She has found enjoyment throughout her career in cooking, assisting chefs with their entrees, and keeping smiles on residents’ faces.
Vicky Caldwell
Vicky has worked as a marketing director in the senior housing industry for the past twelve years. She has a BS in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and is a lifelong Gamecock fan. Vicky lives in Lexington with her husband and two daughters, Haley and Hannah. She enjoys reading, playing card games and spending time with her family.
Marie Hartman
Marie is the Activity Director for Southlake Village. She has eight years of experience in the field of Independent living as an Activity Director. She enjoys seniors and the unique stories and adventures they bring to this community.
